Receptionist / Admin support

Chatsworthelemys, CA

Full time - Temp to hire

Monday thru Friday - 8am to 4 : 30pm

$20hr to $24hr depending on experience.

High end machine shop providing services from blueprint, through tool making, final production and perfect assembly in short run, one?of?a?kind and major run projects, is seeking a Receptionist / Admin support to join their team in Chatsworthelemys.

Summary :

Seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly organized Receptionist / Administrative Support professional to join our team. This individual will be the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors, while also providing critical administrative support directly to the owner and operations team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast?paced environment, is proactive, and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage a busy multi?line phone system; greet and direct calls professionally and promptly.
  • Serve as the front?desk point of contact for guests, customers, and vendors.
  • Monitor, organize, and respond to emails using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, logs, and internal tracking documents.
  • Assist the owner with day?to?day administrative tasks, including scheduling, projects, and document preparation.
  • Support various projects as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain an organized reception area and ensure a professional office environment.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.

Qualifications :

  • Experience with JobBoss or Exact Software.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred.
  • High energy, outgoing personality, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic.
