Pennant Solutions is seeking a Controller for our client in Virginia. The candidate must reside in the state of Virginia

Job Description : Full Time Controller

The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes preparing financial statements, managing the budget, and overseeing all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license, experience with GAAP, and a strong understanding of insurance.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage the budget and oversee all accounting functions
• Analyze financial data and report on the company's financial performance
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns
• Administer insurance policies and ensure that the company is adequately protected
• Work with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies
• Provide financial advice to the management team
Qualifications :
• CPA license
• 5+ years of experience in a financial management role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and insurance principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
