Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer with a strong command of PowerOn Reliance and C++ programming to join our Client's team. This role is essential in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge SCADA systems for the power and utility sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SCADA system integration, cybersecurity best practices, and the ability to design complex logic and control algorithms.

Key Responsibilities :

• SCADA System Design : Develop and implement SCADA systems tailored to client needs, leveraging PowerOn Reliance software and advanced C++ programming techniques.
• Integration Expertise : Seamlessly integrate SCADA systems with field devices such as PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs to ensure high functionality and reliability.
• Custom Development : Create and customize HMI screens, logic algorithms, and system functionalities using PowerOn Reliance and C++.
• System Optimization & Maintenance : Conduct routine diagnostics, perform upgrades, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime.
• Cybersecurity Implementation : Safeguard SCADA systems by applying cybersecurity best practices, including secure coding in C++, regular risk assessments, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Documentation & Training : Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture and user manuals. Train end-users for efficient SCADA system operation.
• Project Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
