Job Title : DevOps Engineer Job Description
This role blends hands-on engineering with emerging technical leadership responsibilities and will play a critical role in reliability, security, compliance, and operational maturity. You will work closely with software engineering and field operations teams to design, deploy, operate, and continuously improve highly available, mission-critical systems supporting public safety and government customers. This role operates with a strong Site Reliability Engineering mindset and participates directly in production operations.
Responsibilities

- Ensure systems' reliability, security, compliance, and operational maturity.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering and field operations teams.
- Continuously improve system operations supporting public safety and government customers.

Work Environment
This position offers a remote work environment with a preference for candidates located in the EST / CST time zones. You will be part of a tight-knit team at the North American headquarters of an international machine vision integrator. The team is known for working well together to execute on technical projects, offering opportunities for up-and-coming engineers. The company specializes in innovative technology and applications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $67.00 / hr.
