Job Description
Deployment Engineer
SS&C Advent has been the market leader providing portfolio management solutions for over 25 years. Work with a dynamic team of system experts on Advent Software’s suite of cloud services. Technologies include Windows, Citrix XenApp , Active Directory, SQL Server, VMWare vSphere, Netapp, SolarWinds, Jenkins and Chef to name a few. Technical expertise, excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to create and follow runbooks are required qualities to be successful in this position.
Duties will include :
- Deploy and support SS&C Advent’s hosted client environments (Advent Outsourcing Services, or “AOS”), including application troubleshooting, upgrades and patches
- Assist in testing and updating existing runbooks
- Pro-actively look to optimize workflows and automate repetitive tasks
- Learn to install and configure Advent’s proprietary applications
- Collaborate with team members on client implementation and upgrade projects
- Develop and follow detailed project plans, schedules and related project documentation
