The Opportunity : Controller

We’re proud to partner with a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company that’s seeking a Controller to lead its financial operations. This is a high-impact role for an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute directly to the company’s continued success.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your leadership will shape financial strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting functions, including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and operational reports
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals
  • Identify and implement process improvements and ERP system enhancements
  • Mentor and supervise a team of accounting professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred)
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus, but not required
  • A hands-on, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting
