CANDIDATE POOL - Adjunct Instructor, Computer Applications

Job Description : IMPORTANT NOTE :

RESUME REVIEWS AND INTERVIEWS FOR THIS CANDIDATE POOL WILL OCCUR ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE PLACED INTO THE ACTIVE CANDIDATE POOL AND MAY BE NOTIFIED WHEN THERE IS AN ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR OPENING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE.

Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC / MTA / DCE unit positions. This posting is for a candidate pool for anticipated vacancies for the 2023-2024 school year. This position is onsite in the classroom. Applicants must be available at least two days per week and available between 8 : 00 A.M. and 2 : 00 P.M.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :

Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES (including but not limited to) :

• Conducts classes.
• Prepares for instruction.
• Assesses student performance.
• Provides student assistance by appointment.
• Engages in professional development and required trainings.
• Attends a limited number of faculty meetings.
