Data Manager

Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Data Management professional for an on-going Government contract. The position entails working closely with engineering and configuration management personnel managing data libraries and for the shipment, receipt, and distribution of product related materials. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 USD to $85,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), maintaining data libraries, marking, and packaging materials for shipment, and receiving, accessioning, and distributing materials to engineering teams
• Process, duplicate, prepare and package documents and media for shipment to other locations and organizations.
• Correctly mark items to be shipped with the required classification and notices, and coordinate with the destination locations to ensure proper addressing and shipping instructions are implemented
• Receive documentation and media from other locations, inventory, report anomalies with shipment, and deliver products to internal codes within the organization
• Record and track all outbound and inbound shipments
• Assist in the configuration management of documents and media within the organization
• Perform other duties as directed

Qualifications

Education

BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION : An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree.

Clearance

Condition of employment – The applicant must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Citizenship

The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
