Overview

TRC is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented  Energy Engineer Apprentice  for a 14-week, paid Workforce Development program. As an Energy Engineer Apprentice, you will learn the skills necessary to conduct energy audits, perform energy savings calculations, and analyze data to support energy efficiency project recommendations. This role will provide hands-on experience in energy efficiency project evaluation, technical reporting, and process automation while developing technical and analytical expertise. Eligible candidates will be resourceful, adaptable, and team-oriented professionals with strong communication and time management skills. Related experience in the industrial sector is a plus.

On-the-Job Training includes but is not limited to :

• Conduct energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, with a focus on the industrial sector.
• Perform energy savings calculations and analyze data to support project recommendations.
• Develop and generate macros to automate processes and improve efficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations summarizing audit findings and savings calculations.
• Support process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project implementation and execution.
• Provide quality assurance for energy audit deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with program standards.
• Organize and maintain project files to ensure accessibility and efficient operations.
• Assist with creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to track progress and support efficient project execution.
• Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth program operations.
