Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Early Morning Care Assistant Needed – Private In-Home Care (N. Lee’s Summit/S. Blue Springs Area) Apply Once and be considered for all of QCKC's positions!

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Lee’s Summit. This is private in-home care for a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury (non-senior).

Preferred Schedule: 🕖 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM Additional hours may be available for the right fit.

About the Client: She is a kind and pleasant individual who values dignity, organization, and consistency. She requires assistance with:

Restroom needs

Showering and personal care (good organization and attention to detail are important)

Light housekeeping

Transfers (some lifting required, but not heavy)

Position Requirements:

Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely

Strong bedside manner and respectful communication

Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule

Compassionate, patient, and attentive

Responsibilities:

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.

• Show up on TIME!

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.

• Meal Preparation

• Light Housekeeping

• Accompany clients on outings

• Shopping and errands

• Medication Assist/Reminders

• Ambulation and transporting of clients

• Provide companionship to clients

• Ability to follow care-plan

• Documentation/Charting

Requirements:

• Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must hold a valid Driver's License

• Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers
