Handyman

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across commercial properties. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and takes pride in completing quality work efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including carpentry, painting, drywall
• Assist with installation, assembly, and repair of fixtures, equipment, and appliances.
• Diagnose issues and determine the most efficient solutions for repair.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and city regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, and team members.
• Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a related trade.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
• Must have his own basic tools and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-Time Position: Flexible hours (approximately 1525 hours per week).
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
• Work primarily in Manhattan, NY with occasional assignments in nearby boroughs.
