Job Description
SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York and academic health System affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine supporting 2 FQHC primary care centers / 2 faculty practice sites and an On-campus Ambulatory Care Center.
SBH Health System seeks a full-time Emergency Room Physician to join our hospital. Candidates will be committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, mentoring residents and medical students, leading quality improvement initiatives and conducting research. Ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communications skills, strong interest in teaching residents and medical students, and a commitment to quality inpatient care and population health. Potential for leadership responsibilities within the group, including roles in Graduate Medical Education and training.
Requirements
Candidates must be trained in Emergency Medicine and possess a current New York State license to practice as a physician. Current DEA is required. Spanish proficiency highly desirable.
