FLEXIBLE HOURS 25-25 HOURS A WEEK!

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Controller / Accounting Manager to review, improve and manage all day-to-day accounting activities of our multi-company firm. This is the perfect position for an experienced Accounting Professional who enjoys a flexible schedule, thrives on challenge, has strong problem-solving skills and values being a trusted advisor of management and mentor / leader of other team members.

Responsibilities

Working directly with Senior Management this position will review all processes including,

  • AP
  • AR
  • Invoice / billing
  • Payroll
  • Monthly closing
  • Accruals & Journal entries
  • Internal controls
  • Budgeting / projections
  • Outside banking relationships
  • Job Costing and construction draw schedules

Professional Skills

  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Deliver and promote high work standards, accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members and foster team atmosphere
  • Strong ability to multitask and move between industries smoothly

    • Education and Experience

  • BS degree in accounting, MBA / CPA / CMA
  • 3 plus years' experience in similar positions
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, GAAP
  • Proficiency in excel, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and general current technologies.
