Advocare DelGiorno Endocrinology is looking to expand our practice by hiring a full or part-time primary care physician to treat adult patients. We currently have 3 endocrine providers on site, including Dr. Charles DelGiorno, who started the practice in 2009, Dr. Ami Amin, and Shannon O'Brien, a nurse practitioner. In addition, we have a registered dietitian on site, Nicole Lawson, who performs dietary counseling, and insulin pump training.

The new provider will only be performing primary care duties (no endocrine) including well visits, physicals, sick evaluations, follow-ups, and chronic care management. This is somewhat of a unique opportunity as we are looking for someone who has aspirations to become a partner in Advocare (no buy-in), although that is not required to apply.

Physician Responsibilities :

• Perform physical examinations and diagnose / treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
• Track and assess patient growth and monitor physical, emotional, and social development
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Utilize the EMR system efficiently to review, collect, and document patient information
• Conduct well visits, administer routine vaccinations, and provide age-appropriate guidance
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with compliance standards

Physician Requirements :

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice

Board certification or eligibility in [specialty, e.g., Pediatrics, Family Medicine]

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented, patient-focused setting
