Schedule Details : Nights

8 and 12 hr shifts

Every third weekend rotation

Holiday rotation

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will provide care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients

As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you will have the opportunity to engage with the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced care.

Provide exceptional, evidence-based patient care through the nursing process

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and compassionate care

Utilize clinical judgment and communication skills to achieve optimal outcomes

Use the nursing process to assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans

Licensure and Education Requirements :

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Experience and Skills Required :

Minimum of 1 year in clinical nursing preferred

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements :

Applicants must be capable of performing physical tasks associated with nursing duties, including lifting and transferring patients, and may be exposed to hazardous materials.
