This position involves providing hands-on assistance in daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community engagement.
The DSP encourages individuals to achieve their personal goals and facilitates social interactions, helping them build meaningful relationships and develop life skills.
In addition to direct care responsibilities, the DSP acts as an advocate for clients, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
This includes collaborating with family members and other professionals to implement individualized support plans.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, creating a positive and supportive environment that empowers individuals to thrive in their daily lives.
