Job Summary

The Automation Construction Manager oversees large-scale building automation projects managing budgets schedules and technical execution while ensuring compliance with control specifications. This role combines deep DDC design-build expertise with strong collaboration skills to work with GCs MEPs and addition to project delivery the position drives growth through strategic business development client relationships and innovative construction practices while mentoring teams to strengthen the automation division.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of large-scale building automation construction projects including budgets schedules material procurement and resource allocation.
• Oversee technical execution with a strong understanding of control sequences and specifications.
• Collaborate daily with General Contractors Mechanical Contractors MEPs and Design Engineers.
• Drive business development by identifying and pursuing major construction opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand market share in the construction sector.
• Assist in job walks scope definition and proposal development for large projects.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.
• Stay informed on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices (e.g. BIM integration pre-fabrication).
• Mentor and develop project engineers and managers train sales teams on strategic approaches to large construction opportunities.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure seamless pre-construction and project execution.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range : $125000 - $150000 per year
