Locum Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Physician Academic Teaching Environment Central Missouri

A highly regarded academic medical system in the central Missouri is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Allergy & Immunology physician for locum tenens coverage beginning September 2025 through August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a hospital-integrated, university-affiliated clinic with full support, engaged learners, and a flexible weekday scheduleno call, no weekends, no inpatient rounding.

Position Details:

• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• Duration: Through August 31, 2026
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 100% outpatient
• No call, no weekends, no hospital rounds
• Academic environment with active participation from residents, med students, and fellows
• Average of 12 clinic patients/day
• 100% pediatric patient population
• Practice supported by MAs and in-clinic RNs for patient flow
• Shared clinic with additional Allergy/Immunology staff
• EMR: Cerner
• Services performed include:
  • Skin testing, pulmonary function testing, desensitization therapy
  • IVIG administration, immunotherapy, rhinolarngoscopy (preferred)
  • Both allergy and immunology patient population
• Credentialing support provided
