A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a

Splunk Systems Administrator

Position Type : Fulltime – Contract

Location : Newport News, VA 23607

Duration : 12 Months

The ideal candidate will have :

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interact with users and evaluate vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Required :

• Experience with Linux and Windows environments
• Experience with interacting with customers configuration and optimization in Splunk
• Experience with using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data
• Strong expertise, understanding architecture and ability to create, modify, troubleshoot data queries through various data sources
• Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging
• Experience with network security, system security, and supporting security information and event management (SIEM)
• Experience with infrastructure management and support and system administration in Windows and UNIX environments
• Experience with security tools, including Firewall, IDS, and Active Directory
• Splunk Administrator Certification

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range : $50 - $54 hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
