Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee essential accounting operations, with a primary emphasis on leading a team, month end close, and communication with operations and finance. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in Excel, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain high accuracy and compliance standards. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in managing financial workflows, ensuring timely completion, and supporting management effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
• Evaluate reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Improve processes and create standardization across regions
• Comfortable with multiple ERP systems and integration of systems
• Review monthly commissions
• Team management
• Primary contact for audits related to agencies overseeing

Qualifications

• 5-10 Years of Accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead an accounting team effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Insurance experience preferred
