We are seeking an experienced  Mainframe System Programmer  with a strong background in database technologies. This is a straight contract opportunity for professionals with 10+ years of experience in mainframe environments.

Locations - Jersey City NJ / Columbus OH and Plano TX

Onsite - W2 Only

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mainframe applications with a focus on database performance.
  • Perform performance tuning including buffer pools, storage optimization, and SQL enhancements.
  • Support replication technologies for DB2 and IMS.
  • Install and maintain IBM products using SMPE.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience :  10+ years in Mainframe programming
  • Core Skills :
  • DB2
  • IMS
  • JCL
  • REXX
  • Performance Tuning (buffer pools, storage, SQL)

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with z / OS workflows
  • Experience with DB2 and IMS replication technologies
  • Knowledge of SMPE for IBM product maintenance
