Michigan Medicine improves the health of patients, populations and communities through excellence in education, patient care, community service, research and technology development, and through leadership activities in Michigan, nationally and internationally. Responsibilities

• Develop content for social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, TikTok Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest to share stories about Michigan Medicine clinical care, research and educational efforts that build and spread engagement with patients, families and others seeking expert and authoritative health information.
• Develop vertical videos for social media channels
• Community management and monitoring of Michigan Medicine's social channels at direction of the social media strategist.
• Providing analysis of engagement and other social media metrics.
• Work with marketing and public relations team members on best practices for social channels.
• Participate in live stream video broadcasts.

Required Qualifications

Open to currently enrolled college students. Communication, social media strategy background preferred. Writing samples required. Experience with brand management, public relations or journalism is a plus. Must be comfortable in a multi-layered organization with complex reporting relationships.

Modes of Work
