As a Membership Growth Consultant (MGC), you will have the unique opportunity to be an outside healthcare sales representative dedicated to generating sales leads and increasing membership by fostering meaningful relationships with senior citizens and local community partners. This role is crucial in enrolling new patients into ChenMed and is the first step in our growth career path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and cultivate relationships with seniors and healthcare partners to create year-round patient opportunities.
- Engage with seniors in various settings to share the compelling ChenMed value proposition.
- Plan and execute local community events, such as health fairs and information tables, aimed at reaching our ideal patient demographic (Medicare-eligible seniors aged 55 and older).
- Develop robust relationships with health plan agents, insurance brokers, and community providers, ensuring ChenMed remains a preferred provider for seniors.
- Work alongside community officials and businesses to create initiatives that foster new patient growth.
- Conduct sales meetings and manage event logistics, including vendor negotiations.
- Utilize marketing and sales tools to track leads, maintaining accurate records in our CRM system (SalesForce).
- Provide community activity calendars and monthly penetration plans to identify new market initiatives.
- Engage with new patients after their first appointment to foster retention and address any concerns.
Essential Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to engage customers effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus!
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally, up to 75% of the time.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, particularly with seniors and understanding of Medicare Advantage.
- Experience in business-to-business relations is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License is essential.
Compensation and Benefits:
