Pulmonary Intensivist opening in Bettendorf, Iowa Located in the Quad CitiesSleep optional Details :

• FT, permanent opening
• Opportunity to practice inpatient and outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic consisting of (2) MA's, (1) LPN, (1) RN, (8) APP's, and (6) Physicians
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
• Full-time position including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities :

20-25 Patients per day between inpatient and outpatient shifts

Offsite call schedule when covering inpatient service line but covered by APP's at night

Office procedures : spirometry, pulmonary, sleep medicine, bronchs, navigational, robotic

Monthly comprehensive lung nodule program meetings

Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications :

MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonology CC and / or Sleep Medicine

Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Illinois and Iowa

Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician s field of practice

Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Offer :

Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $380,000 - $590,000 with the ability to exceed compensation and receive 100% of the upside on an innovative compensation program. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual s qualifications. The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
