Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging tests and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons in forming and implementing individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, such as preparing the operating area, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer high-quality pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge strategies, and patient education efforts

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is essential
