Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking an experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer / Clinical Engineer to provide strategic guidance on medical equipment management, lead comprehensive program assessments across 170+ VA medical centers, and develop enterprise-level policies that ensure the safety, reliability, and availability of medical technology for Veterans. The ideal candidate will combine proven clinical engineering expertise with strong leadership capabilities to advance key initiatives including medical device cybersecurity, patient safety incident investigations, technology standardization, and HTM operational excellence. You will collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, biomedical engineering, IT, and administrative teams to establish HTM standards, develop assessment methodologies, and deliver transformational improvements across VHA's Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) program.

Responsibilities :

• Lead comprehensive Healthcare Technology Management program assessments at VA medical centers to evaluate operations, compliance, and performance
• Provide technical expertise for complex medical device patient safety incident investigations and develop enterprise-wide preventive strategies
• Develop executive-level communications, strategic documentation, and policy standardization efforts for medical equipment management across VHA
• Facilitate national HTM workgroups and provide mentorship to VISN and VAMC HTM programs across the enterprise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical engineering, IT, patient safety, and quality management to advance technology standardization and operational excellence initiatives
