You will be remote and you will work from home when not traveling to a customer's site. You must live within an hour of a major airport and have a valid driver's license. Desired locations for candidates to currently live : Georgia, South Carolina or North Carolina The Opportunity ... Perform system installation of autonomous guided vehicles and peripheral equipment at customer locations (chargers, I / O panels, operator interfaces, etc.). Responsible for Installing, testing, and debugging the system. Travel of (50%) domestically required. On occasion- internationally to customer sites Modify equipment and software. Troubleshoot, defining, and looking for resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and software improvement opportunities with system components. Make software and hardware adjustments. Monitor system performance metrics. Perform customer training. Interface with customers. Collaborate with other engineers on projects. Why work at JBT ... Bachelors degree in Engineering required. Disciplines of engineering includes Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics preferrred. 1+ years of experience with computer programming languages is required Javascript, C#, C++, Python, MATLAB, Visual Basic Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
