Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Vice President for Academics, Student Affairs and Research, the Program Manager for the Jobs for America's Graduates South Carolina (JAG-SC) program oversees and manages the JAG-SC program operations. The JAG-SC Program Manager will ensure adherence to the JAG Model Components and Standards to include training of program staff, conducting meetings, facilitating professional development, oversight of JAG-SC event planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. As liaison to the JAG National Office, the JAG-SC Program Manager will serve as program representative at state, regional, and national events. The JAG-SC Program Manager will develop, evaluate, and revise JAG-SC policies and procedures to ensure JAG Model delivery standards are met and in compliance with data management expectations. The JAG-SC Program Manager will establish and maintain a strategic vision for program improvement. This position requires travel statewide and nationally to perform job functions.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.
Successful candidates will be an energetic self-starter with strong attention to detail, demonstrate effective written and oral communication and organizational skills, the ability to relate well with a diverse range of people and values, and demonstrate skills necessary to manage activities and performance from a distance. Proficiency is required in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel. Competitive candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to supporting the Division of Academics, Student Affairs, and Research's vision for bold, innovative, and sustainable practices and values of integrity, supportive engagement, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
A master's degree and relevant program management experience; Strong knowledge of JAG to include JAGForce and HeadRush database systems; Supervision of multiple staff members.
