Location - 100% remote
Well established IT firm is seeking an experienced DB2 z / OS System Programmer. This role is responsible for installing, customizing, upgrading, maintaining, and tuning DB2 for z / OS, including IBM and 3rd party offerings, running on the Mainframe z / OS platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration and technical support of the DB2 for z / OS environments, including problem analysis and resolution.
- Provide on-call support and respond within the agreed SLA. Satisfy any on-site support requirements as required.
- Build and perform maintenance and migration to new levels for DB2 environments.
- Installing, customizing, maintenance and migration to new levels of OEM and ISV Software Products.
- Consulting with the customer on configuration changes and new features of software.
- Support Disaster Recovery exercises.
- Manage changes within standard control processes and mechanisms.
- Produce clear technical documentation.
