Location: Orange, CT
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Orange, Connecticut. In this role, you will perform hands-on metal fabrication operations while working closely with supervisors, manufacturing engineers, and fellow production operators to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific metal fabrication operations as assigned by the supervisor.

• Read and interpret process sheets, work instructions, and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately.

• Set up and operate die forming and roll forming equipment.

• Measure workpiece dimensions using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications.

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and other production operators to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Hands-on experience with metal fabrication processes such as die forming, roll forming, and welding (strongly preferred).

• Experience with press operation and setup (strongly preferred).

• Proficiency with basic measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.

• Ability to read and interpret job instructions, work orders, and engineering blueprints.

• Experience working in a smaller or team-oriented production environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with closely related seal products is a plus.
