Job Posting

Job Summary : This individual is responsible for processing incoming patient and insurance payments and entering physician clinic and ASC charges that include surgeon, anesthesia, and facility billing.

Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years experience in medical practice.
  • NextGen experience, preferred.

Essential Skills and Abilities :

  • Management of multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organization with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Strong computer skills.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Primary Responsibilities :
  • Accurately posts all incoming patient and insurance payments including electronic and paper checks and ERAs.
  • Balances daily business activities and closes out each days receipts for the deposit.
  • Ensures payments are secured until posted.
  • Generates necessary reports.
  • Enters surgery and clinic charges on a daily basis.
  • Secondary Responsibilities :
  • Backs-up other department staff as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.
