PositionQualifications(minimum) :

Excellentquantitativeandanalyticalskills.
AnassociatesorbachelorsdegreeinrelatedfieldoranElectricalJourneymansLicense.
Strongcomputerskills,toincludeMicrosoftofficeproductsandBluebeam,withtheabilitytolearnnewsoftwarequickly.
WorkingknowledgeoftheNationalElectricCodeandelectricaltheory.
Proficientskillsinreadingconstructiondrawings,specifications,submittals,anddatasheets.
Experienceinlayoutofelectricalequipmentandsystems,includingdesign / buildconceptssuchaselectricalone - linesandfeeder / branchcircuitanalysis.
Outstandinginterpersonalskills,toincludeexcellentverbalandwrittencommunication.
Problem- solvingcapabilitiestoidentifyandresolveproblemsinananalyticalandtimelymatter,byskillfullyanalyzingandprovidingalternativesolutions.
Effectivetimemanagementthroughproperplanning,organization,andabilitytohandlemultipleinitiativesatthesametime.

Summary :

TheEstimatorwillanalyzeconstructionblueprintstodeterminethequantityandcostofmaterialsandfixturesneededaswellastheamountoflaborrequiredtocompleteeachbidandworkwiththecustomerstoreceivecontracts.TheestimatorwillalsohelpimplementmeasurestoincreasetheCompanyseffectivenessandefficiency.

Education&Experience :

Minimum(8)yearsofelectricalindustryestimatingexperience.

Experienceinlargecommercial,industrial,orwatertreatmentispreferred

WorkingknowledgeofelectricalestimatingsoftwaresuchasAccubid.

AnassociatesorbachelorsdegreeinrelatedfieldoranElectricalJourneymansLicense.

EssentialFunctions :

Create / reviseestimates,proposals,andchangeordersforcurrentandprospectivejobs.

Workwithbusinessdevelopmentandprojectmanagementtobuildproposalsthatincludeaccuracyinlabor,time,andmaterials.

Identifyprojectcosttrendstoassistmanagementincostreductionandprocessimprovementsacrossprojectsandteam.

Responsibleforprojecthandoffbetweenestimatingandprojectmanagementonceprojectisawarded.

Requestmaterialandequipmentquotesfromvendorsandequipmentsuppliers.

Reviewsupplierquotestoconfirmadherencetoquoterequestsandaccuracyofquotesreceived.

Performtakeoffforindividuallyassignedprojects.

Overseealltakeoffforteamleadprojects.

LeadteambidsbyfullyunderstandingtheRFPandbiddocumentsanddelegatingtaskstootherteammembersbasedonexperience &ability.

Leaddesign / buildbidsbyunderstandingtheRFPandbiddocumentsandbeabletoidentifyandquantifyprojectunknownsorambiguities.

Trainnewestimatorsinthestrategiesandprocessesoftheestimatingdepartment.

Weeklyoutreachandfollow -uponpendingbids.

PhysicalRequirements :

Mustbeabletoliftupto15poundsattimes.
