[job_card.job_description]Must be 18 years old and able to lift up to 60 lbs. Computer literate, quick to learn new systems. Experience with pallet jack and forklift (training available). Capable of working in extreme hot and cold environments. Requires standing, lifting, and walking for most of shift. Basic understanding of hotel food / beverage products. Organized, safety-minded, and able to follow directions well. Strong customer service, communication, recordkeeping and math skills; Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. As a Storeroom Clerk at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will facilitate the ordering, purchase, receiving, storage, safeguarding and distribution of all food and beverage products.
Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. This award-winning, all-seasons destination features over 746 guest accommodations, the WELL Spa & Salon, two championship golf courses, fitness facilities, a ski hill and terrain park, and 9 unique food and beverage outlets. What will you be doing?
- Assist with food and beverage inventories.
- Process requisitions and ensure timely deliveries.
- Receive and store products, ensuring freshness.
- Maintain storeroom cleanliness and health code compliance.
- Adapt to working in both hot and cold environments.
- Scan invoices into e-procurement software.
- Handle UPS label printing for shipments.
- Shred classified documents as needed.
