[job_card.job_description]Three plus years experience with all phases of part operation Set-Up on I.D Grind equipment. CNC Lathe Turning a plus. Skilled in the use of indicator, Profilometers, Indicating Micrometers, Dial bore gage and plate inspection methods. Understandings of various types of grinding tools (CBN, Aluminum Oxides and Diamond Wheels), stock removal, tool wear accuracies and thermal compensation. Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life for aerospace coatings and materials Submit first article p and in-process inspection of precision machined parts. Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0002-.0005") of I.D profile, roundness, run-out and concentricity. CNC Lathe Machinist
A growing and profitable manufacturer for aerospace parts in Simi Valley is looking to hire a CNC Lathe Machinist, ID Grinder.

Location : Simi Valley
Salary : $25.00- $31.00 / hr (DOE)
This is a full time temp-to-hire position
Schedule : 2nd shift (3 : 00pm - 12 : 00AM)
Responsibilities :
- Completes set-ups with minimal supervision / assistance.
- Responsible for all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
- Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variation.
- Input data into visual management forms and convey results to management
- Continuously improve processes, procedures, and eliminate waste.
- Supports high pace work center.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
