We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Newport, Minnesota. In this role, you will support various human resources functions, ensuring smooth and effective HR operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in employee relations, HR administration, and systems management.
Responsibilities :
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct shortlisting and screening of candidates to support recruitment efforts.
- Assist in payroll preparation by gathering necessary pre-work and ensuring accuracy.
- Utilize HRIS and other systems to retrieve and analyze information effectively.
- Support benefit administration processes and address employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Provide overflow support for current HR initiatives and tasks.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of HR-related activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of HR workflows and processes.
- Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration.
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and benefit functions.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and ability to navigate technology.
- Knowledge of ADP payroll systems and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Background in recruiting or talent acquisition is a plus.
