Auto Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Auto Technician who can deliver excellent service to our customers. Your role will involve performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as tire rotation, oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups. Additionally, you will be responsible for properly inspecting vehicles, identifying any problems, and effectively fixing them.

Communication is key, and we expect our Auto Technicians to interact with our customers in a professional and friendly manner. Your positive disposition and dedication to outstanding customer experience will make our customers come back to us in their time of need.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance tasks on customer vehicles
• Properly use diagnostic equipment to inspect customer vehicles
• Identify vehicle problems
• Test vehicles and parts to ensure they function perfectly and are safe
• Repair customer vehicles and replace parts
• Maintain repair shop equipment
• Maintain vehicle records
• Keep the shop clean, supplied, and well-organized

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• An ASE certificate is a plus
• Auto mechanic training
• Experience as an auto technician
• A valid driver's license
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment
• Ability to maintain accurate vehicle records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good time-management and safety-management skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance
• Friendly disposition
