Our leading client in Irvine is looking for a Senior Technical Accountant. You will be responsible for revenue, consolidations and reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $105,000 per year.

Job Description :

  • Review customer contracts and billings to ensure revenue recognition aligns with US GAAP.
  • Perform account reconciliation, compute revenue / deferred revenue, estimate royalty accruals, and analyze revenue trends.
  • Engage with external auditors to gather relevant support and ensure internal control compliance.
  • Implement enhancements to drive accuracy and efficiency within the department.

Requirements :

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 (revenue recognition rules).
  • Prior experience with contract review and revenue accounting.
  • Familiarity with larger ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, FCCS) and Excel proficiency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, organizational abilities, problem-solving, and teamwork.

    • Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3+ years in accounting.
  • Public accounting experience.
