PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

• Located in Manhattan, several Breast Radiologists are needed to work at a well respected and well regarded academic medical center.
  

• These are hospital-based opportunities.

• They also have a large support staff including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  
  
• If the radiologist is in the process of completing or has completed a Breast Imaging fellowship, it would be a plus. However, this is not a requirement.
  
  
  
• They have both a reasonable work schedule and on-call schedule.

• Availability: Breast Radiologists who will be completing their training in June of 2022, as well as those physicians already in practice and who have prior work experience are all welcome to apply and will all be strongly considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpreting images of the breast in order to diagnose and help treat different breast medical conditions

• Reading mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs.

• Performing diagnostic breast procedures that can help to diagnose and treat breast cancer

• Procedures include:

• Minimally invasive techniques (Percutaneous) to diagnose abnormalities

• Preoperative image-guided biopsies

• Localizations

• Aspiration procedures

• Cysts

• Reflector Seeds

• Thin Wires

• The new Breast Radiologists will all be employed by this academic medical center.
