JOB SCOPE
&
PURPOSE The Analyst within SBA provides impactful and insightful analysis and business intelligence to Targetbase clients. He/she has a natural curiosity and a desire to discover the answers to key questions via data and research analysis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers impactful analyses of assigned projects with high quality, on time, and within estimated hours
- Reviews data for insights, trends, and key observations
- Develops working knowledge of Targetbase’s key analytical competencies
- Solves problems by thinking through approaches to the data or analysis
- Participates as a collaborative team member, holding himself/herself and the team accountable for the work
- Puts the client first, anticipating, understanding, and meeting/exceeding client expectations
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Produces high-quality analyses
- Is a strong and proactive member of the SBA team
- Is able to deliver assignments of at least one to two out of Targetbase’s six analytical competencies
- Is actively learning
- Is demonstrating mastery of SBA’s marketing analytics tools and an understanding of data models and data marts
- Demonstrates through day-to-day activities a commitment to the vision and guiding principles of the agency and the vision and strategic plan for SBA
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of 1-2 years of applied analytics experience
- Experience in some or all of the following areas of marketing analysis: segmentation, predictive analytics, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and/or market research
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY
- Basic knowledge of analysis techniques
- Proficient with SAS or R
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Overtime as necessary
- Some travel may be required
