Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support wellness and prevention efforts, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and evaluate patient health needs and establish individualized care plans.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.

- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.

- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

- Educate patients and their families about health management, medication, and lifestyle adjustments.

- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.

- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

- Stay current with best practices and changing regulations in the nursing field.

Qualifications:

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

- Proven experience in a clinical setting (specific field experience may be required depending on department).

- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.

- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle stressful situations.
