Automotive Mechanic

Looking for a motivated Automotive Mechanic/ Service Tech for the Sioux Falls and surrounding area. You can book 80 hours or 160 hours a pay period with the correct skill set. We are a very well established company that has grown from a small shop to multiple locations here in the upper Midwest. Our Mechanics or Service Techs are our biggest assest and we are a company that promotes from within. . Job Requirements

• Good physical health including ability to occasionally lift 60 lbs. Frequent bending, carrying, hearing, lifting, pushing, standing, and walking. Occasinal climbing , crawling, crouching and reaching.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Work varying temperatures and humidity. Occassionally subjected to vibrations, Mechanical and electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions occasionally include fumes and dust. The noise level could be high.
• Must possess valid driver's license
• Other: ASE certification
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Examines customer vehicles
• Identifies necessaary vehicle repairs and maintnance.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards
• Estimates cost of repairs
• Performs vehicle repairs and manitenance
• Documents services performed
• Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines]
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines
• Requests necessary parts.
• Follows safety rules and regulations
• Regularly attends formal training to remain proficient in changing automotive technology
• Maintaining organized service department
• Performs other tasks, based on the requirements and instructions of Service Manager

Compensation can range from $25 to 50$ an hour based on experience
