At Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, our mission is more than a tagline-it's a commitment to building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

For Juniors and Seniors at FAU, this internship opportunity will help you make connections and learn valuable skills that you can take with you after you graduate! Below are the department Internships that we have partnered with FAU to host.

Product Sales Intern

  • Help build the next generation of female leaders!
  • Contribute to programming hosted by the Product Sales team!
  • Assist Troop Leaders and girl scout volunteers!
  • Draft Newsletter reminders, updates, and recognition blurbs!
  • Prepare and help distribute rewards, booster boxes, and program materials!
  • Assist in creating and organizing materials for trainings and events!
  • Help Troops and Volunteers navigate online resources and cookie distribution!
  • Participate in staff engagement activities like : the company retreat, cookie season, and Team on the Move meetings
  • Join staff as we celebrate different milestones with cake, bingo, and activities curated by our Ambassador of Fun!
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Membership Intern

  • Help build the next generation of female leaders!
  • Assist Troops and girl scout volunteers!
  • Prepare and help distribute patches, recruitment materials, and booth supplies!
  • Assist in creating and organizing materials for recruitment booths, events and facilitator-led troop meetings!
  • Collaborate with Business Development & Troop Formation Managers!
  • Help identify community needs and come up with practical ideas to address them!
  • Participate in staff engagement activities like : the company retreat, cookie season, and Team on the Move meetings!
  • Join staff as we celebrate different milestones with cake, bingo, and activities curated by our Ambassador of Fun!
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled FAU Junior or Senior enrolled in the Government and Nonprofit internship program
  • Complete the Internship application on the GSSEF Career site
  • Have the ability to commute to the Lake Worth Headquarters.
