[job_card.job_description]Associate's degree in engineering technology, Construction Technology, Electrical Technology, or closely related field; or Minimum of two (2) years' experience maintaining and repairing buildings, offices, and grounds; heating & air conditioning equipment and related systems; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training totaling two (2) years. Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of Montana. Possession of a Low-Pressure Boiler License issued by the State of Montana within 6 months of hire. Finalist(s) must pass a background check.
Maintenance Tech II
The Yellowstone County Detention Facility is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform a variety of skilled construction trade and manual tasks for the maintenance and repair of public buildings, grounds, equipment and related systems; does related work as required. Wage : $22.40 per hour. Schedule : Full Time.
Examples of Duties
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections on parts, equipment and structures to ensure continued and safe operations.
- Promotes and is conscientious of safety throughout the County and all its buildings.
- Establishes and monitors maintenance intervals, schedules, and procedures.
- Performs predictive and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure the continued operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
- Inspects, adjusts, and repairs buildings, equipment, utility distribution systems, and central heating or cooling equipment.
- Repairs or replaces plumbing lines and fixtures in buildings or facilities to ensure continued, safe, and sanitary operations.
