Service Advisor

1. Greet customers properly as they enter the service area.
2. Determine need for repairs by questioning customer about vehicle’s performance, or by visual inspection of vehicle.
3. Estimate cost of repair and prepare itemized work order, listing costs of parts and labor.
4. Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
5. Answering all incoming calls coming into your desk phone, should you miss a call listen to your voicemail and return any calls from customers the same day.
6. Communicating with customers daily, via our texting software, phone calls or in person to ensure they have updates regarding their vehicles.
7. May make minor adjustments or repairs.
8. Ensure repair orders are written/closed in a timely manner.
9. Close out repair orders as soon as work is completed and promptly notify customer of completed status.
10. Work in a cooperative and positive manner with all personnel.
11. Ensure CSI is above or meets minimum standards.
12. Maintain companies established minimum standards on labor and parts gross.
13. Conform to the company’s policies on non-discrimination and harassment.
14. Treat members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner and maintains a professional demeanor while on the job.
15. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Employee shall participate in ensuring the dealership is neat, clean and tidy which may include cleaning up after him or herself, making sure his or her work area is neat and clean, properly disposing of trash and making sure vehicles and merchandise is properly displayed for sale.
