Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair. Candidates must possess their own basic hand tools. Able to follow instructions and work to written procedures accurately. Fluent in English—reading, writing, speaking, and understanding. Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions. A technical skills test may be required. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized individuals are encouraged to apply. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Valid driver's license is required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to walk up stairs. Manual dexterity required for handling components and tools. Frequent hand manipulation of small to medium-sized components. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of hand tools and other repair equipment. Comfortable using cleaning, lubricating, and painting chemicals.
CIMA Aviation is looking for a dedicated Pneumatic Systems Technician who is enthusiastic about aviation and eager to learn. Join our dynamic team and work hands-on with pneumatic aircraft components, utilizing a range of tools and specialized testing equipment to carry out inspections, repairs, and functional tests following OEM and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and overhaul various pneumatic components, including valves, starters, air cycle machines, and PDUs.
- Conduct tests and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with FAA / EASA regulations and aviation standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic systems with precision to identify component failures.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail while working independently and solving complex problems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges effectively.
- Maintain strict adherence to aviation regulations and protocols in all tasks.
