Job Description
The Certified Physician Extender will work in collaboration with a physician to provide urological services for ambulatory patients in the Jackson Clinic.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program; National certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Previous work experience is required in the ambulatory care setting. Current licensure as a CRNP or as a Physician Assistant in the State of Alabama. BLS is required. Strong oral and written communication skills required, as well as leadership and organizational abilities. We require an individual who is self-directed and who will accept accountability for their actions.
