ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - CVICU

Job Details :

  • 13-week assignment with rapid response placement
  • 48 hours guaranteed per week
  • Days / nights shifts available
  • Weekend requirements : every other weekend
  • No special scheduling or return to orientation required
  • Must have 2+ years hospital experience and 2+ years specialty experience
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Preferred experience with MEDITECH, TNCC, CCRN, TCRN certifications
  • Patient ratio : 2 : 1
  • Floating as needed
  • Procedures include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, chest tube insertions
  • Work with various ICU equipment and MEDITECH documentation system
  • Dress code : Royal blue scrubs required, no artificial nails, hair pulled back if shoulder length, body art covered when possible, visible piercings limited to ears only

    • Facility :

    This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care unit with 36 CCU beds and 30 burn trauma ICU beds. The facility maintains supervisor coverage on every shift and utilizes patient care technicians to support nursing staff. The organization operates with advanced ICU equipment and MEDITECH documentation systems, providing specialized care for critically ill cardiovascular patients requiring complex procedures and monitoring.
