Assistant Professor, Health and Human Performance

The Health and Human Performance Department at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level for the 2026-27 academic year. We have a dynamic and growing HHP program that is more than a major–it’s an exploration of how the human body moves, recovers, and thrives. Our programs blend scientific rigor, hands-on experience, and mentorship, all while preparing students for impactful careers in health, wellness, teaching, coaching, and performance. We are searching for a faculty member who can teach biomechanics and other discipline-related courses. It requires a teaching load of 12 credit hours each semester, for a total of 24 credit hours per academic year. An earned Ph.D. or ABD in the field of exercise science/kinesiology from an accredited institution is required. Salary starts in the high-50,000s, and is commensurate with experience.
