Estate Planning Attorney (In-Office) – St. Petersburg / Pinellas Park, FL

The King Firm, P.A. is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney for an in-office position in Pinellas Park / St. Petersburg, Florida. This role is client-facing and involves daily meetings, drafting and implementing estate planning documents, and guiding clients through the planning process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients in person (and occasionally by phone / video) to gather information, identify goals, and recommend planning strategies.
  • Draft, review, and finalize standard estate planning documents, including :

Revocable and irrevocable trusts

  • Wills
  • Durable powers of attorney
  • Health care surrogate designations and living wills
  • Deeds and related real-property transfer documents (as applicable)
  • Advise clients on beneficiary designations, titling of assets, and trust funding steps.
  • Coordinate execution / signing meetings and ensure documents are properly witnessed, notarized, and delivered.
  • Maintain organized client files, track deadlines, and communicate clearly with clients throughout the matter.
  • Collaborate with firm staff to ensure smooth intake, scheduling, document production, and closing of files.

    • Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar (required).
  • Strong communication skills and comfort meeting with clients daily.
  • Excellent drafting, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters at once.
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented; able to work effectively in an office environment.
  • Prior estate planning experience is helpful but not required (training / mentorship available depending on experience level).

    • Work Location

  • This is an in-office position in St. Petersburg, Florida, Pinellas Park, Florida, and one day per week in Tampa, FL (no remote work).

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
