A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a Transmission & Distribution Team Lead to be based in Braintree, MA, and focus on assisting a team to sell to utilities and renewable developers. On the selling side, you’ll own a few relationships between the client and our transmission and distribution (T&D) businesses. On an average day, you’ll meet with various customer personas, drive internal action to win orders and execute projects, and act as the conduit for solving customer problems by leveraging the T&D capabilities of Siemens Energy. On the managing side, you will assist a team serving their client base and grooming them in their careers. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert throughout the region, driving the account strategy, forecasting and helping our businesses best serve the market.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build and nurture strong relationships across all client levels, connecting internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration.
- Serve as the face of Siemens Energy for Transmission & Distribution, positioning the company as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner.
- Lead business development efforts across the T&D Equipment and Services portfolio, aligning with customer strategies and market trends.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver unified, customer-centric solutions that benefit both Siemens Energy and the client.
- Act as the customer advocate internally, shaping winning strategies, resolving challenges, and influencing portfolio alignment.
- Mentor team members, foster a high-performance culture, and support leadership with account insights, forecasts, and presentations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or relevant field.
- 8 or more years of relevant experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on collaboration and information sharing.
- Familiarity with financial targets and ; industry experience a plus.
- Flexible and adaptable in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
Travel, as needed (estimated at 30-40%).
